Speyside has long been the epicentre of Scotch whisky, with explorers visiting from all around the world. From the Devil’s Point to the Angel’s Peak, wildcats to noble stags, and extreme climbs to trails of discovery, in the Cairngorms, there’s an adventure for everyone to explore.
LOCAL INGREDIENTS, LOCAL FLAVOUR
From the very start, we wanted our distillery to form a natural extension of this magical landscape and play an important part of the community - a proud addition to the Highlands economy. We source locally wherever possible, down to the very essence of our whisky making: Scottish grown barley and the purest water from underground springs deep under the Cairngorms National Park.
OUR HOME, OUR RESPONSIBILITY
We are committed to preserving and enhancing the environment around us for generations to come. And we play an active part to protect it, providing a refuge for wildlife and managing the habitats on our doorstep: from building nests for rare Golden Eye ducks and new wetlands for rare dragonflies; to planting Aspen trees along the River Spey and safeguarding the cleanliness and temperature of its waters as they flow through this ancient landscape.
